Some people say that "extreme exploration" is the ultimate pursuit of ultra-runners. It perfectly connects the majestic nature with the strong heart of human beings. The interpretation between life and death, redemption, and inheritance touches the deepest quiet place in our souls, interpreting the meaning of life and yearning for goodness. That’s why we launched the Everest 135 Mile Extreme Race. It is perhaps the most grueling and unimaginable cross-country race ever created on the planet. Or, we should call it an "extreme exploration" - it is about the harsh and magnificent nature, and it is about the hearts of you and me. The dangerous and ever-changing environment tempers our will, and the extremely difficult body bursts out with infinite super perseverance. There is no endless road, no dangerous peak that cannot be overcome. We explore the limits, challenge the limits, and open up the limits.
The race route covers the "Classic EBC Road" traveled by the Everest climbing ancestors in the early 20th century. This is the only road that started from the early expeditions to the Everest region in Jiri, Nepal. It once carried the ultimate dream of mankind. In the Everest 135-mile extreme race, which adopts a completely self-navigation format, competitors will use their time, physical strength and mind to relive this classic legendary road starting from Jili, and in this way, pay tribute to the early pioneer climbers of Mount Everest.
